Prohibited activity
The following will disqualify you from the referral program and may result in account suspension:
- Self-referrals — creating secondary accounts to refer yourself
- Unauthorized incentives — offering cash, discounts, or gifts not approved by SellMyCode in exchange for using your link
- Spam — placing referral links in unsolicited emails, messages, or misleading ads
- Automation — bots, scripts, or tools that generate fake clicks or sign-ups
- Cookie stuffing or any other form of referral link manipulation
- Misrepresentation — false claims about SellMyCode, its products, or the program
Promotional guidelines
When promoting your link you must:
- Clearly disclose that you earn a commission from purchases made through your link
- Comply with applicable advertising laws (e.g. FTC guidelines)
- Not bid on SellMyCode brand keywords in paid search without prior written permission
- Not create websites or social profiles that could be mistaken for official SellMyCode channels
Commissions earned through prohibited activity are forfeited. Play fair and the 20% is yours, uncapped.
