LaunchPrompt – PWA Install Prompt & Install Helper

LaunchPrompt is a lightweight JavaScript plugin for adding a polished and customizable installation prompt to an existing Progressive Web App.

On supported browsers, LaunchPrompt captures the native beforeinstallprompt event and lets you present your own branded install banner before opening the browser's real PWA installation dialog.

It also includes optional iPhone/iPad Add to Home Screen instructions for platforms where beforeinstallprompt is not available.

Important:

LaunchPrompt is an install-prompt helper. It does not automatically convert a normal website into an installable PWA.

For a real native browser installation prompt, the target website must satisfy the browser's PWA installability requirements, normally including HTTPS and a valid PWA setup.

The package includes the reusable plugin, documentation, a standalone demo and example PWA files.
