A complete REST API

• 39 resources: customers, contacts, leads, projects, milestones, tasks, timesheets, tickets, invoices, estimates, proposals, contracts, expenses, payments, credit notes, items, staff, departments, custom fields, files, calendar, notes, reminders, knowledge base, currencies, taxes, statuses and more.
• Lists with paging, multi-field sort, search, filter[field][op], updated_since, fields= and include=; related records (a customer's invoices, a project's tasks) and actions (send, mark, convert).
• Writes through Perfex's own models — activity log, notifications, custom fields and other modules behave as if a colleague clicked. Idempotency keys, ETag / If-Match, bulk operations, file uploads and signed downloads.
• API keys per staff member (Perfex permissions apply), scopes per resource and read / write, limits per minute and day, IP allow-lists, expiry, rotation — hashed and shown once.
• OpenAPI 3.1 generated from the live API, an interactive reference inside Perfex with “Try it” and snippets in curl, PHP, JavaScript and Python, and a Postman collection.
• Request log with the redacted request and answer, filters and replay.

Signed webhooks on every change

• 121 event types: created, updated, deleted and status changed for every resource, plus invoice paid, estimate accepted, ticket replied, task assigned, sign-ins and your own custom events — from the Perfex screens, the client portal, other modules, the API, rules and syncs.
• The payload is the record as the API shows it, with the changed fields on updates. HMAC-SHA256 signature with a timestamp, retries from 1 minute to 6 hours, auto-pause of failing endpoints, a delivery log with redeliver and test sends.
• Subscription API (REST hooks): Zapier, Make, n8n and your own apps subscribe themselves — instant triggers instead of polling.
• Catch-hooks: a private address that creates, updates or upserts any record from a JSON or form post, with field mapping, token or HMAC authentication, duplicate protection, dry run and a log.

Automation rules

“When an event happens, if the conditions match, then…” — create or update records, assign, change status, add notes and tasks, notify staff, send e-mail or SMS through Perfex, call a URL, wait, or raise your own event. Schedules, templates with fields, 11 ready-made rules, dry run and a run log with each step's result.

Ready integrations

• Zapier, Make and n8n: REST hooks, an n8n community node package and a Zapier CLI app generated for your CRM (every resource and event), and ten step-by-step recipes.
• Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads through your own Meta app: page and form picker, question mapping to lead fields and custom fields, duplicate handling, backfill, token refresh and a missed-lead check.
• WooCommerce, any number of stores: customers and products both ways, orders to invoices with your status map and payments, refunds to credit notes, conflict rule, reconciliation and a sync log.
• MCP server for AI assistants: 196 tools generated from the API, personal tokens, read-only or read-write, confirm-before-write and a call log. With Perfex AI Staff, the tools join AI Staff and its approval cards.

Built to be trusted

• Safe mode: one switch holds every outgoing webhook, rule call and sync; nothing is lost. An emergency file does the same without signing in.
• Outgoing calls only to public HTTPS addresses, DNS pinned, private and metadata ranges refused, no redirects.
• Keys and tokens hashed, secrets encrypted, tokens masked in every log; API access only with a key, never a session.
• Health page, retention for every log, permissions per area, export / import without secrets; no Perfex core file changed.

What is included

The installable module ZIP, offline HTML documentation, the developer kits (n8n community node package and Zapier CLI app, generic copies — your CRM generates its own), changelog and third-party license notices (icons partly from Lucide under the ISC License with Feather-derived icons under the MIT License; Plus Jakarta Sans under the SIL Open Font License). Perfex CRM itself, hosting, Meta / WooCommerce / Zapier / Make / n8n accounts and AI apps are not included.
