Every change is previewed before anyone else sees it, and there is always a way back to the default look.

Your team spends the whole day in Perfex and your clients sign in to it — yet it looks like every other installation. Perfex Design Studio turns one brand colour into a complete design system for the staff area, the sign-in pages, the client portal and a public website. It restyles Perfex screen by screen from one set of design tokens instead of painting over colours, and it is built so that a theme can never lock you out.

One brand colour, a full light and dark theme

• An 11-step palette generated in OKLCH for light and for dark, with a WCAG contrast check for every text role and automatic adjustment when a colour would be hard to read.
• Pick the colour from your logo; logos for light and dark backgrounds.
• Four style presets, each light and dark: Soft Gradient (default), Corporate, Minimal Mono and Midnight.
• Bundled fonts (Plus Jakarta Sans, Inter, Manrope, Source Serif 4) — nothing loads from a CDN — plus corner radius, density, shadow depth and custom CSS.
• A theme editor with a real Perfex page as the live preview: desktop, tablet and phone, light and dark, hold to compare with the default look.
• Drafts, versions, restore, and JSON export/import to move a theme between installations.

The staff area, restyled screen by screen

• 47 Perfex screens styled one by one: tables, forms, invoices, estimates and proposals with their editors, customers, leads, projects, kanban boards, tasks, tickets, calendar, reports, setup and pop-up windows — phone layouts included.
• Screen Check opens every restyled screen with your draft before you apply it.
• A light/dark switch in the header, saved per staff member and shared with our Brain Pro, AI Staff, Sentinel, Deliverables and Cash & Capacity modules.
• Optional personal presets for staff (off by default).

Layouts, menu builder and dashboards

• Sidebar, icon rail (labels on hover) or top navigation with a mega menu.
• Menu builder: groups, drag-and-drop, names, 1,799 icons, colours, badges, custom links and visibility per role; the Setup menu too; history and restore.
• Dashboard layouts on a 12-column grid for everyone or per role: widget library, drag and resize, tablet widths, phone visibility, locked or personal layouts.

Login and registration pages

Ten staff and client pages in one editor — login, forgot and reset password, set password, two-factor code, registration — with six layouts (split, gradient, glass, minimal, photo and video background), backgrounds, texts and testimonials. Perfex's own form stays inside, so CSRF, reCAPTCHA, two-factor sign-in and hooks keep working. Client registration runs in four friendly steps.

A client portal theme

A proper Perfex customers-area theme: a welcome page with the amount due and Pay now, projects, proposals, tickets, the account manager and files, in your colours, light or dark. Every client feature keeps working, and your previous client theme comes back whenever you pause it.

Website builder

• 69 sections in 175 variants: heroes, features, numbers, process, testimonials, pricing, FAQ, team, news, forms and footers. Click to type, swap pictures, reorder, switch variants, preview on any device.
• Ten industry templates: SaaS, agency, consulting, corporate, accounting, clinic, construction, education, IT services and real estate.
• Perfex web-to-lead and estimate request forms, prices from Perfex items, knowledge base articles and Appointly booking.
• Publish a page as the CRM home page; SEO title and description, social card, canonical address, noindex and sitemap.xml.
• Optional AI copy through Perfex AI Staff: three suggestions in the tone you choose.

Never locked out

• Preview on your own account, apply with Undo, a version for every publish.
• Safe mode for one browser (?pds_safe=1, also on the login page), a one-time recovery link that works without signing in, and kill switches without a browser (a DISABLE file or PDS_SAFE_MODE).
• Any error while theming falls back to the default Perfex look. Every action is in the history, and in Perfex Sentinel's audit log when installed.

Built the Perfex way

• No core file or my_ view changed: hooks, stylesheets and a regular customers-area theme folder.
• Permissions for viewing, editing drafts, publishing and safety settings, and a separate website permission.
• CSRF-protected writes, cleaned website content and custom CSS, a Content-Security-Policy on public pages, no secrets in the browser.
• Perfex SaaS: a theme per tenant, or one theme pushed from the main site.

What is included

The installable module ZIP, offline HTML documentation, changelog and third-party license notices (Lucide icons under the ISC License with Feather-derived icons under the MIT License; Plus Jakarta Sans, Inter, Manrope and Source Serif 4 under the SIL Open Font License). Perfex CRM itself, hosting and AI-provider subscriptions are not included.
